There is not an automatic benefit to running a 64 - bit program. Unless you are creating/using larger files, then the choice between 32 vs 64 bit application doesn't matter all that much. Most of my stuff is civil, with huge xref's attached, so I am lusting after a win7-64 w/ 24Gb RAM.

But my problem with Autocad 2004 with Windows 7 + XPMode is still there. When I click to the right on the Autocad icon and choose for 'execution as' 2 possibilities are indicated. Second one is the Administrator, see before, which does not work also when the password is used. First one is the VirtualXP./XPMuser. A tick(do hope that this is the right word) warns me that it defends my PC and data against nonallowed activities of computerprograms. It is not possible to take this tick away permanently. Could this be the evildoer? Could this be the reason why Autocad 2004 does not work, even with XPMode?
