Click to expand.Hi Evil Dragon yes that is exactly what is happening and my only gripe or perhaps better to say observation is that loading up one instance of Studio Drummer in Kontakt 5 can cause this to happen. By that I mean one track not multiple tracks, not applying any FX at this stage just loading the samples. Nothing but nothing gives me this problem and I mean loading Symphobia samples etc. To me that makes Studio Drummer a CPU/RAM hog and worth mentioning to anyone who runs XP that you may experience similar problems.

Studio Drummer BIG CPU usage Hi, Studio Drummer uses up an extraordinary amount of CPU on my machine - Windows 7, Intel Core Duo, 4GB RAM, 32 bit OS - not the biggest or fastest machine I know, but I use some pretty big plugins and none of them eat CPU like Studio Drummer. It sounds great and is my fave Drum plugin, but it's so unstable.

It crashes a lot! I've never heard what the included midi files sound like - they crash my system every time I try to drag 'n drop one into my session. Using the SD FX will crash it straight away. Is there a fix for this? It can't be that my computer is useless all of a sudden? Do we hear from NI people on these threads?
